How to clear the Download Cache?

Solution

Please follow the steps mentioned here:

1. Click on ‘Start’.
2. Go to ‘Programs’.
3. Select ‘Microsoft .NET Framework SDK’.
4. Now, select ‘SDK command prompt'.
5. A new console window will open.
6. At the command prompt displayed, type the following: “gacutil /cdl”.
7. A message - “Download cache deleted successfully” - will be displayed.
8. This procedure will clear the Download Cache.
