Problem
When you click on the link to launch Herbert, the opening animation windows appears, but the Herbert main window never appears.
Solution
There can be several reasons for this behavior. Try each of the following solutions, in order.

Make sure you are waiting long enough. Herbert can take several minutes to launch, depending on your connection speed and network traffic. Please wait at least five minutes.

It is possible that Herbert is loading behind other windows. This is something that happens on occasion with .NET smart clients - they can load behind other windows, with no icon in the system tray. Minimize all open windows or use alt-tab to ensure Herbert is not opened in the background.

You may need to adjust your security settings, as follows:

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options/Security and click on Local Intranet.

Click on Sites, then Advanced, and add the URLs http://www.wildnoodle.com and http://wildnoodle.com to the list of Web Sites. Make sure that "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone." is left unchecked. Press Ok two times to save your changes.

Then click on Custom Level and ensure that "Run components signed with Authenticode" is checked. Click Ok twice to save all changes.
